Traveling to a clinic can be incredibly difficult for aging pets—especially heavy dogs with bad hips who struggle to climb into cars, or elderly cats who are easily stressed. Vital Signs & Temperature Checks: Gentle checking of Temperature, Pulse, and Respiration (T.P.R.) and weight tracking.
Mobility & Joint Assessment: We evaluate how your senior pet moves around your home and discuss environmental modifications (like rug runners, ramps, and orthopedic beds) to ease their pain.
Holistic Lifestyle Consultation: We discuss inside/outside schedules, companion animal relationships, appetite, metabolic changes, and cognitive function.

Because senior pets hide illness, we recommend annual diagnostic blood and urine profiles to check internal organs:
Antech SA715 Senior Health Panel ($240.00): Comprehensive blood and organ health profile designed specifically to monitor kidney, liver, thyroid (T4), and metabolic health.
Urinalysis (Complete, $72.90): Screens for early kidney disease, diabetes, and silent urinary tract infections.

Prescriptions & Home Delivery
If your senior pet requires daily pain medications, joint supplements, or specialty prescription diets (such as kidney support or joint care food), we will authorize them on our Online Pharmacy for direct shipping. If we have the item in stock on our mobile unit and you live local to Luther, we will deliver it directly to your house without a travel fee!
